This unique background in technology and psychology enables Colleen to work with leaders to improve their people skills while delivering strong business results. Her experience as a corporate leader enables her to integrate a strong intellectual foundation with plenty of practical leadership and corporate experience. She has worked with hundreds of leaders and their teams-including CEOs, senior executives, and leadership coaches to achieve peak performance.
Colleen started her career in the US Airforce after high school, where she traveled extensively as a fighter jet repair technician. After her tour of duty, she began a career in Information Technology and earned two Associate degrees and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications while working full time.
As Colleen’s career progressed, she became known for her exceptional people skills- her ability to tap top talent, motivate others to achieve challenging goals, and lead large scale organizational change initiatives. Her passion for helping leaders to achieve their highest potential inspired her to complete an MS in Organizational Development and ultimately, her Doctorate in Organizational Psychology. This enabled Colleen to make a huge career change—from IT to Organization Development.
Today, Colleen combines her experience as a successful IT and OD leader to work with corporate leaders to achieve new levels of success and career satisfaction. Based on her own personal transformation, she has an uncanny ability to help leaders to reach their career aspirations with greater clarity, speed and ease.
Her doctoral dissertation focused on employee engagement. Her other research interests include team effectiveness and diversity. Colleen is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Coach University, Society for Human Resource Development (SHRM), and the Atlanta Society of Applied Psychology. She also co-chaired the OD PEG for SHRM Atlanta for 3 years.
